How To Prevent Hearing Loss with Proper PPE

Hearing loss can be preventable --- don't let your business get fined for conditions that risk your employees' health and well-being. ESGI can assist employers in developing and maintaining a hearing loss prevention program; and also provide practical information and guidelines on the eight major components of a hearing loss prevention program:

(1) noise exposure monitoring

(2) engineering and administrative controls

(3) audiometric evaluation

(4) use of hearing protection devices

(5) education and motivation

(6) record-keeping

(7) program evaluation

(8) hearing loss prevention program audit

People have the right to work in conditions that do not cause them harm. It is important to choose the proper PPE to reduce the risks of noise exposure to employees and ESGI can help.
