Case Study #2: Cobar Contracting

Cobar Contracting retained the services of Environmental Services Group, Inc., in 2006 to assist in the abatement of Occupational Safety and Heath Administration (OSHA) citations. ESGI prepared and implemented all of the required training and written programs and provided professional representation on behalf of Cobar in negotiations with OSHA. This enabled Cobar to save hundreds of thousands of dollars in OSHA penalties.

As part of a long term commitment to the Health and Safety of its employees, Cobar has also contracted with ESGI to provide the required written and training programs, as well, as monthly jobsite inspections. Additionally, ESGI conducts annual 10 hr OSHA classes and certifications to ensure all employees receive, and are thoroughly aware of, OSHA rules and regulations.
